Strengths and Challenges

I feel one of my strengths as a writer is developing a real/imagined using effective techniques. I did this in the personal narrative. The details were, to me, the best part. It drove the story and added the imagery needed to imagine what it was like. Another strength is writing arguments that support claims.  I did this in the research paper and literary analysis. This was how I presented my reasons for how Genghis Khan made the Mongolian Empire. I need to work on my sentence structure and word choice. They are important because its how the sentences look and makes sure they sound right.

Hits and misses

My favorite and to me best piece of writing is the personal narrative. I didn't have to search for information since it was an experience, something that I went through. It was easy to write it because it was all in my head, in my memory. It was good to rehash all of the feelings I 'd  had since the flood. For that assignment, we had been told to write about an event in our lives. The flood was the first thing to come to my mind.  The piece I struggled with was the research paper. it was so much to do and think about. All the sources had to be good and you had to get to get all the info from "credible" sources. The topic I put was a good though. It wasn't  hard  to find info, just hard to put it to use. it was also the piece that TORTURED me in the writing process!

In this section, there were a lot of changes to the characters including Kambili, Jaja, and Amaka. Kambili changed because of Father Amadi. He helps her come out of her shell and express more emotions. Jaja's changes are broader. He becomes more in tune with Aunty's way of living. He likes it a lot at first than Kambili. Amaka's changes come after Papa-Nnukwu's death. She's nicer to Kambili and treats her more like a friend than a stranger.

#244 What old television shows would you bring back? *SPOILER ALERT*

Tv shows, in general, are always suspect to be canceled so there are sure signs that a show is about to get canceled. The first is when they add a seemingly random character to the main cast. For example, when Nellie, Robert California, and Clark were added to the cast of "The Office." A second one is when a main character leaves the show. For example, when Steve Carrell left the show "The Office" in the seventh season. The third one is when  the off/on again couple ends up together. It basically fills a major plot point. For example, Angela and Dwight from "The Office" or even Ross and Rachel from "Friends." The fourth one is when a character has a child just for an episode or two, and the child never is feature enough. For example, the child Angela had with Dwight, Philip, in "The Office."      As you can probably tell from the first paragraph, the show I want to come back is "The Office." There has been talk of a reb
