Muskaan's post-blog prompt Naya's post-Human Nature: Imperfections

human nature week 2

I believe that human nature means that we all make mistakes and that we all have flaws. We all were created equal and shouldn't think one person better than another. Humans are fundamentally flawed, and no two people are alike in all ways. The definition of human nature is  the general psychological characteristics, feelings, and behavioral traits of humankind regarded as shared by all humans. I believe this perfectly describes human nature as it is the definition.      My religion is the reason I feel this way. I go to church every Sunday, and there I am taught to believe that God created all living things equally. These are my beliefs about human nature.

writing prompt week 2

prompt: What was your traumatic experience?       I was about six or seven years old, and this was my first time at the mall. I was with my mom and grandmother. We didn’t really go for me. It was more for my mom. So, we walked in and started shopping around. Then my mom goes to the escalator and starts going down. So, I then go but my grandmother got scared and tried to pull me up the rotating stairs. I start screaming because my foot is getting scraped against the stairs.       By this time, my mom is close to the bottom of the escalator but she hears my screams and starts running back up the escalator. This incident was very traumatizing for me. It was only the going down part, I could up the escalator fine. Years later, I still was scared and hated escalators. I had to learn how to go down one of them. But I’m fine now, I can go down one with ease.

reading response week 8

I am currently reading Middle school: Just My Rotten Luck by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts. The primary character's name is Rafe Khatchadorian. He is very good at drawing comic books and puts them online on an art blog. He is also very awkward around girls.(as usual for his age!) Rafe feels like everything is going wrong in his life and he doesn't know why. The book is more of a comedy than anything else.     The central conflict is that he is forced to join the football team by a bully named Miller the Killer(very obvious from the name!) and he makes a friend out of it called Flip.  Flip is outspoken and talkative. He brings Rafe out his shell. So far, the book has been great, and I can't wait to finish it! I'd recommend it to anyone.

free post week 8

There once was a girl named Lila. She was brilliant and fun. She listened to her parents and did what she was told. She did well in school and had lots of friends. At school, some the other kids were talked about ditching school the next day and invited Lila to join them. She told them she was going to think about it. Lila was conflicted, should she ditch school and not have a perfect attendance record or should she go to school and learn? She picked ditching school the next day and quickly spiraled into bad grades and depression.
